Fight against child labor

Poverty constitutes one of the main causes of dropping out of school, which is why SAMBIRANO S.A. is committed to fighting against social inequalities and as such supports and finances schools but also the school materials of more than 400 students, children of planters. Scholarships are awarded according to predefined criteria.

Education remains the best response to child labor.

Training and support for planters: developing local expertise

Sambirano S.A helps and supports planters in setting up cooperatives. The organization of planters into cooperatives allows :

• More autonomy and negotiating power for planters
  Introduction to the process (organizes elections, administrative assistance, etc.)
  Construction of a cooperative house to help with the organization and structuring of their organizations
